Tacho Timer 3 - One-Minute Rule - Tachograph Assistant

TachoTimer.3 is a driving aid designed to help you legally apply the "One-Minute Rule" using your digital tachograph, extending your daily driving time by up to 45 minutes. When used together with your vehicle's digital tachograph, the TachoTimer.3 lets you maximize your driving while staying compliant with regulations.

This device is compatible with all digital tachographs that meet European Commission Regulation 1266/2009 and aligns with the "Guidance Note 3 on Social Legislation for Road Transport". TachoTimer.3 was created to assist drivers in situations where you need to move your vehicle (such as at the request of road maintenance services) without interrupting your rest period.

Two Operating Modes:

• 29-Second Mode: Activate this mode and a red LED signals vehicle standstill. The timer counts from 1 to 30 seconds, then a green LED signals you can start driving. The timer displays 29 seconds—start driving when ready. Once the vehicle moves, a countdown from 29 to 1 starts. During the last 10 seconds, a beeper alerts you to stop the vehicle and set the tachograph to rest mode ("bed h"). The countdown only begins when the vehicle is moving, so you control when to use your 29 seconds.
  Reminder: Switch to "h" (rest) before time runs out.
• 58-Second Mode: A red LED signals standstill, and the countdown starts automatically when this mode is activated. When the timer reaches zero, a green LED signals you can begin driving. You then have 58 seconds of driving time. During the last 10 seconds, a beeper reminds you to stop and set the tachograph to rest mode. In this mode, the countdown repeats every two minutes, so you must start and stop the vehicle within each 58-second driving window.
  Reminder: Switch to "h" (rest) before time runs out.
